Donny Osmond is back!

If you love a good performance, you have a reason to be excited- Donny Osmond is coming back to the Strip. However, it is a little disappointing that his sister will not be performing alongside him. Donny's show is expected to set off  August 31, 2021, at Harrah's showroom. Hopefully, theaters will be in full swing by then.

According to Donny, the show will feature many of his old legendary hits and some incredible new tunes that the fans will love. Currently, the star is working on his 63d album.

Flamingo Show Comes to an End in 2019

In November 2019, the Donny & Marie Show at the Flamingo came to a close after 11 years. When the curtain dropped, more than 900000 tickets had been sold, and fans had enjoyed about 1730 performances from the pair. During the closing, the siblings shared an earnest prolonged hug as the crowd applauded them.

While Marie will not be part of the new show, she wishes Donny all the best.

Going Solo is Nothing New for the Pair

Fans might have grown attached to seeing the siblings perform together but going solo is nothing new for the two. Back in the 70s, the two were variety show icons on TV. Up until 1976, when the two paired up, the two had been solo with Marie staring with the Paper Roses. Moreover, even after forming the Donny and Marie duo back then, they still went solo after four seasons before joining hands in 2000 for the talk show. They then split again but came back together in 2008 in Vegas.

Earlier in his career, Donny performed alongside his brothers, but he always struggled with an unhip image tag. At 62, he has appeared on Broadway, wrote a best-selling autobiography, and hosted a game show and talk show with his sister. Even better, as a singer, he has 33 gold records under his name and has sold about 100 million albums, and appeared on the popular Dancing With the Stars TV show.

According to Caesars Entertainment Regional President Gary Selesner, Donny has achieved a lot with good memories at the Flamingo, and the entity is happy to welcome him back on stage at Harrah's Las Vegas next year.

Will Marie Feature Alongside Donny Again?

Though not confirmed, the chances of Marie performing alongside her brother cannot be ruled out. She recently left her co-host role on CBS’S The Talk and is currently co-starring in a movie, The Christmas Edition.
